Ayam Ungkep

I have been wondering how was this ayam ungkep taste like..at first when I saw this in Anawahid's blog, I did asked her is it something like ayam lemak padi?...cause of the colour...then as noted  it is something like rendang procedure..only thing this dish used mostly spices that gives a nice aroma when cooking and its nice to eat it with sayur lodeh and ketupat..

It is actually a Javanese dish that is popular in Muar..(this is what I read) among the Javanese populations there..Anyway back to this dish..it is really a nice menu and Hasif agreed!..Never regretted trying it...to Anawahid, (her recipe is here) which she got from Hana and before that from Fidadaud..I took some part of the recipe from you and combine with the one that I've got from here..Memang PASS!!!.. BUK!!

2 lemon grass crushed
1 turmeric leaf sliced coarsely
2 potatoes cut to wedges -fried first and put aside
