Terung Bakar & Air Asam


Been aiming to do this for quite sometimes..only today managed to fullfilled my 'desire'..hehe.. recipe from Noorsha's blog...my parents comments was 'Sedap jugak eh!'...I like this air asam very much.. Terimakasih Noorsha for sharing, akak suka sangat air asam ni, memang kena betul dengan citarasaa akak..

Terung Bakar & Air Asam
Bahan2 utk Terung Bakar-Ingredients for grilled brinjal:-
3 biji terung - belah 2-( 3 brinjal cut to halves)
sedikit garam-(some salt)
sedikit minyak masak @ minyak jagung-( some oil@corn oil)

Cara2Method:-
Gaul terung dengan sedikit minyak masak @ minyak jagung. grill seketika atas stove atau bolehlah masukkan dalam oven n bakar sekejap. lepas empuk tu, ketepikan seketika.-(Mix brinjal with oil and salt. grill for a while on stove or in oven.)


Bahan2 utk Air Asam-(Ingredients for Asam sauce)
10 biji cili padi-( bird eyes chillies)
2 inci belacan bakar-(grilled dried shrimp paste)
1 biji bawang besar-( large onion)
Asam jawa sebesar duit 50 sen-( tamarind pulp size of 50 cents coin)
1/2 cawan air masak-(cup warm water)
salt & gula -(salt & sugar)


Cara2Method:-
Tumbuk c@ kisar kering cili padi dengan belacan bakar. Kemudian, masukkan gula & garam secukup rasa, tumbuk lagi. Cairkan asam jawa dengan air masak,toskan bijinya dan masukkan dalam cili & belacan yag dah ditumbuk tadi. Tambahkan sedikit demi sedikit air jika terlalu pekat. rasa & tambah ape yg kurang..-(Ground dried chillies together with belacan. Add in salt and sugar to taste and ground again. Mix tamarind pulp with warm water and discard the seeds. Add grounded mixture and mix well.)
